. . . .  is the creation of Peter Leech. It showcases his digital art work, separate from his conventional photography.

 

Peter lives in South Wales, not far from Cardiff. He has been a keen photographer for decades. He goes back to the era of sitting in a dark cold loft with trays of cold chemicals in trays and ribbons of acetate based films. He was thankful for the rapid development of digital photography and embraced it right from the start of the century. Now more at home facing a computer monitor than freezing in a roof space, Peter has developed his skills in digital processing to the point where he often doesn’t even start with a photographic image at all now. Finished images are often created from a number of separate elements, such as layers, textures, manipulated  sections of photographs and a lot of imagination and creativity.

 

The study of the work of the great abstract artists has replaced years spent viewing Ansell Adams and co. Photography still has a part to play in his work, but it is now just one component of the many digital tools available.

 

The images on Bonvilston Digital Art are unique creations. They can be bought from the Bonvilston Sales site. All images are sold as unique and come with a  certificate of authenticity guaranteeing that they will not be reproduced and sold to anyone else. All images are signed by Peter Leech personally on the reverse of the image.
